Job Title: Senior Market Access Manager

Locations/Territories: Field/Office Based (3 days office)

Reports to: Marketing Director


Develops, executes, and communicates the overall market access business plan at both a national and local level working closely with the Regional Directors and Brand Managers, reporting into Marketing Director. Creates compelling and clear value propositions to engage with key NHS customers across primary and secondary care. Plays a key role in developing market insights and positioning the value of new and current products and services with the evolving NHS with specific, but not limited, focus on CCGs.

Leads on market analysis, including health economic models, to build robust business cases that influence NHS thinking and drive commitment to working in partnership with the organisation.

Works at a national level with key policy bodies and influence groups such as DT, NICE, SMC, AWMSG to establish appropriate market access for current and future portfolio.

The expectation of the role is that it will be 60% office based and 40% field based, building relationships with key stakeholders.

The Senior Market Access Manager role is a “field based” position.


Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Setting and creating the market access strategy in conjunction with the Regional Directors and Brand Managers.
  • Understands the market dynamics, including Health Economics, to develop clear value propositions & campaigns that drive access to Clinisupplies products.
  • Provides strategic, tactical and operational input and market analysis to the commercial leadership team
  • Create marketing tools and materials to support the sales force in successfully implementing the value propositions within the NHS
  • Responsible for creating and executing a bespoke communication strategy for each of the key groups within the NHS, e.g. GPs, HCP, Medicines Management, Commissioners
  • Set clear targets and assess the ROI of the market access business plan and marketing campaigns and make recommendations to drive continuous improvement of the value propositions.
  • Build and establish an advisory group compiling a wide variety of senior NHS decision makers to help support and develop the value propositions
  • Responsible for working at a national level with key policy bodies such as NICE, SMC, AWMSG and DT.

  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Exceptional Business Planning Skills
  • Strong analytical skills and high levels of curiosity – ability to turn data into insight
  • Previous Sales management experience
  • High standard of oral and written communication, including well developed presentation skills.
