The NHS Commercial Manager will be responsible :

For implementation of Value Propositions with Procurement and CCG/HB customers in key accounts for the Clinisupplies Portfolio

The NHS Commercial Manager role is a ‘field’ based role. Work away from home when requested. Overnight stays can be expected

Brief description of the job responsibilities


Reporting directly to the Regional Director, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Deliver and exceed agreed sales targets for the Clinisupplies portfolio
  • Excellent Key Account Management skills to analyse current sales data and other relevant information in order to create an effective and detailed operational business plan to grow and exceed sales targets
  • Development and effective implementation of tailored value propositions for medicines management and procurement that benefits customers, patients and Clinisupplies
  • Thorough understanding of both Secondary & Primary Care within the NHS, and the changing face of the NHS.
  • Identify key stakeholders influential in developing policy, guidelines, clinical and health economic advice for clinicians.
  • Excellent cross functional working with Regional Director, sales team and key commercial functions
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills that demonstrate your ability to position yourself as a vital part of the Clini product and service offering
  • Ability to function at all levels of the NHS, as well as within a Sales Culture Team environment.
  • Development of local and national KOL’s within region.
  • To fully understand and interpret the Monthly Sales report and supporting sales analysis
  • Effective weekly update of company IT requirements
  • When requested, work to assist colleagues when needed for example with Training, Roll outs etc.

  • Robust Key Account Management skills
  • Well developed commercial and business acumen
  • Project Management skills, including the ability to implement, monitor and review projects
  • Ability to function and “tailor” sales approach to the multi layered NHS
  • Excellent Presentation Skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Clinisupplies Product portfolio
  • How NHSSC & other roads to market function
  • Strong understanding of the NHS landscape policy and how it affects local delivery of healthcare.
  • Financial understanding of the internal budget planning process


  • Experience of working within NHS commissioning
  • 2 years’ experience in a commercial medical device role.
  • Urology & Woundcare therapy, market & competition knowledge
