The Key Account Specialist will be responsible:

To sell a comprehensive range of urology and woundcare products that meet the needs of healthcare professionals and their patients into the competitive Primary and Secondary care market.

The Key Account Specialist role is a ‘field’ based role. Work away from home when requested. Overnight stays can be expected

Brief description of the job responsibilities


Reporting directly to the Regional Director, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Deliver and exceed agreed sales targets for the urology and woundcare portfolio
  • Excellent standards in territory / journey and business preparation and planning.
  • Excellent understanding of the Selling Process
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills that demonstrate your ability to position yourself as a vital part of the Clini product and service offering
  • Thorough understanding of both Secondary & Primary Care within the NHS, and the changing face of the NHS.
  • Understanding of formulary process and ability to influence for positive positioning of Clinisupplies products
  • Ability to function at all levels of the NHS, as well as within a Sales Culture Team environment.
  • Excellent levels of retention with our customer portfolio and accurate and urgent follow-up and pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Development of local KOL’s within territory.
  • Thorough understanding of how a Dispensing Appliance Contractor operates
  • To fully understand and interpret the Monthly Sales report and supporting sales analysis
  • Effective weekly update of company IT requirements. CRM, Wellards, Calendar, Monthly TM report to Regional Director.
  • When requested, work to assist colleagues when needed for example with Training, Roll outs etc.

  • Thorough understanding of the Sales Process and how it fits with each layer of the NHS
  • Key Account Management approach to their respective estate
  • Ability to function and “tailor” sales approach to the multi layered NHS
  • Excellent Presentation Skills
  • Good understanding of how a Dispensing Appliance Contractor operates
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Clinisupplies Product portfolio
  • How NHSSC & other roads to market function
  • Changing language of the NHS – Five Year Forward View, Carter Review
  • Financial understanding of the internal budget planning process
  • Thorough understanding of both Primary & Secondary Care


  • Clinical background.
  • Urology & Woundcare therapy, market & competition knowledge
  • 2 years’ experience in a Sales Medical Device role with a success track record.
